CIM for Agencies

CIM is also an excellent tool for carriers who seek to retrieve and process standard interface files from their agencies to update carrier policy and accounting information. And, CIM is an excellent tool for carriers who wish to read and write non-standard interface files from any trading partner.
CIM Architecture
CIM's architecture abstracts the definitions of each interface file for processing using a flexible external schema built on XML. CIM's XML schema language has easy to use functions to combine, extract, and transform data through the production process. CIM's design provides for dynamic expansion and contraction of data groups and fields eliminating problematic errors in processing.
CIM's input/process/output architecture leverages a SQL Server database for data storage. CIM's storage facility allows CIM to be configured with custom flow rules to accommodate complex data handling. This storage facility allows CIM users to report on all CIM processing and to manage exceptions without failing the entire process.
CIM comes with a full API/Toolkit designed to be called from other applications as a service. CIM can be run as a scheduled process and it can be run interactively. CIM is fully multi threaded providing excellent performance.
