  • Terrace considers all client data as confidential. Access will be determined by the project manager (PM) on a “need to know” basis: whether it is the project manager only, team only, anyone at Terrace, etc.
  • PM determines how it will be secured: password on file, restrictions on database, permissions on network folder, etc.
  • PM is responsible for keeping an inventory of sensitive data received from each client, so we can track and ensure it is deleted when it is no longer needed. Inventory should include information about when it won’t be needed, who owns it, and a checkbox for when it is removed.
  • PM audits the inventory on a regular basis to make sure items are being removed at the appropriate time.
  • Terrace does not use any client data or other personal data in dev, QA, and demo sites.
  • PM will determine appropriate level of security for e-mail and FTP.
  • Passwords should be communicated to staff verbally. The appropriate level of security for passwords will be determined by PM.
